Upstream is not a convert investigations agency. We are open and transparent. We provide education, information and advise media outlets when they are reporting on matters of public interest. We are objective and align with polices that reflect the standards of the community and population of Australia, but we not adverse to standing up to injustice in the political arena.
Just because that’s how it’s always been doesn’t mean that’s how it should remain.
I’ve always had an interest in media, undertaking communication studies during high school, studying media law during my time in the Police and even applying for Police Media Unit in 2006.
